Ryan & Amy Warren

Ryan M. Warren was born and raised in Crawford County and grew up working in a family business (Chilson's Home Furnishings in Conneaut Lake). He is a graduate of Conneaut Lake High School and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Sciences. Amy J. Warren is a lifelong resident of Crawford County. She is a graduate of Linesville High School. Amy has had a career in sales and marketing for the past twelve years and is currently the Controller for the funeral home. The couple was married on October 14, 2006 and they have two beautiful children, Lyla and Ryan, Jr. Both are members of Oasis Church.

Ryan enjoys coaching youth sports, and every year proudly supports Crawford County 4-H and our local FFA Chapters. Ryan is an avid weightlifter, hunter, enjoys helping on the family farm, but most of his free time is spent with his wife and children. He is also on the Advisory Board with the Oasis Church.

Growing up on a large agriculture farm, Amy has spent her life in numerous agricultural groups. She is a 4-H Leader for the Champion Drive 4-H Club, a Committee Member of the Crawford County 4-H and the Future Farmers of America Livestock Auction, and is actively working with children on their livestock animals. Even with her busy schedule, she still finds time to help her father on their family farm.

Amy is also on the finance team at Oasis Church and volunteers with the PTF at Crawford Christian Academy. Amy shares the passion of supporting the Meadville, Union City, Townville, and Franklin Communities with her husband, Ryan.

Michael W. Gardinier, CFSP, CPC Supervisor

Michael is the Supervisor of the funeral home. Mike moved to Franklin in 1973 and has been a resident since that time. He is a 1977 graduate of Franklin High School and attended Penn State University (1977-1979). He is a 1981 graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.   Michael earned his designation of Certified Preplanning Consultant (CPC) from The National Funeral Directors Association in October 2009.  In 2012 he earned his CFSP designation from the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice.

Mike is married to the former Lynanne Thomas. Mike and Lynanne have two sons, Ryan and Kyle. 

Michael's memberships include:  Order of the Golden Rule; National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA);  Member of  Myrtle Lodge #316; Valley of Oil City; Valley of New Castle; Zem Zem Temple Shrine; Sandy Creek Conservancy; Loyal Order of the Franklin Moose #83; Franklin BPO Elks #110; Social member of V. F. W., Jesse G. Greer Post #1835; Member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Franklin; Franklin Kiwanis; Oil City Isaac Waltons; and St. Johns Episcopal Church (Former Vestry Member, Treasurer). 

Mike enjoys hunting, fishing, stamp collecting, and traveling.

Mike was also a former Distinguished President of the Franklin Kiwanis; a former Board Member and Chairman of the Venango VNA Foundation; a former President of the Franklin Salvation Army; and was a former Vice President and Board Member of VAHRA.

Born and raised in Titusville, PA, Heather is a 1991 graduate of Titusville Area High School. She is also a 1998 graduate of Erie Business Center with an Associate Degree in Accounting.


Heather graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2005, earning her Specialized Technology Degree (Funeral Arts and Sciences). She is also a Notary Public, Certified Aftercare Specialist, and is currently working on her Certified Funeral Service Practitioner credentials. She is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), The International Order of the Golden Rule (OGR), and is a Social Member of the VFW Jesse G. Greer Post 1835 in Franklin.


Heather serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer and volunteers at Venango Area Riding for the Handicapped Association and is a member of the Franklin Rotary Club. She also volunteers at the youth bereavement camps held by the Venango VNA Foundation and for the Our Community Salutes program, that honors graduating students who are joining the military. She plans to further her volunteer efforts with the future hopes of becoming a staple in the Franklin community with her husband, Curt.


In her spare time, she enjoys working with her husband with his trucking company and working on their small farm, kayaking, camping, hunting, and spending time with their family.

Madalyn is one of the Funeral Directors at Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc. A 2015 graduate of Oil City High School, Madalyn went on to receive her Diploma in Funeral Directing and Embalming from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and an Associates Degree in Specialized Business in 2017, as well as a Bachelors of Science Degree in Environmental Science with a Minor in Psychology from Point Park University in 2018. She received her Pennsylvania State Funeral Directors License in 2019.

 

A proud member of the Oil City / Franklin community, Madalyn enjoys her spare time participating in the Venango Chorus, a community chorus presented by Clarion University, as a Soprano and volunteers with FLEX (Future Leaders & Entrepreneurs Exchange). She is also a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and The Order of the Golden Rule.

 

A proud aunt of four, Madalyn also spends many hours baking and spending quality time with her nieces and nephews, playing board games with her family and friends, traveling, and watching True Crime documentaries.

Samuel Saeli, Jr. Maintenance Supervisor

Sam is the Maintenance Supervisor of the funeral home. Born and raised in the Franklin Area, Sam is a proud member of the Rocky Grove community. He is a 1979 graduate of Franklin High School; Sam later attended Penn State University (1979-1981), where he earned an Associate Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, and also attended Clarion University (1986-1987), to study Psychology.

Sam is married to the former Brenda Bordell, whom he shares his beloved children, Samuel Saeli, III, OD and Stephanie Saeli, DO. He also has four pets: two West Highland Terriers, Comet and Blaze, and two cats, Jack and Stark.

Sam enjoys golfing in the summer, bowling in the winter, visiting his children, going on cruises, and gambling at the casino.

Monty Grief Therapy Dog

This is Monty Warren. He is a one year old Labradoodle who is working hard to become a Grief Therapy dog for all our families in need. He is a very sweet and gentle puppy, who loves playing ball and car rides.

Monty is in training at Red Ball Dog Academy, where Robin and Lyla work with him. When you walk through the door of the funeral home, Monty will most likely be there to greet you with a happy wag of his tail and a big puppy smile. He is very eager and excited to become certified, so he can give support to those who need it!
